Custom Cut Amethyst Ring Remount

We completed this remount recently. The customer brought in an old filigree ring with this amethyst which was not in the mounting anymore. We sent the stone off to be polished because there were many scratches and nicks from years of wear. The mounting was broken and beyond repair. we were able to make a new, heavier mounting. This should hold up for more than this generation. Goldsmith Eric Miller assembled the mounting we made here and set the stone.
